ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND LAW

UEL’s School of Business and Law provides a vibrant, international learning environment based in the University’s new, superbly equipped University Square Stratford building in the Olympic host town of Stratford, east London. Some teaching also takes place in the University’s older Stratford campus and in the modern, spacious Docklands campus. The University is ideally situated for the study of business and law, with the global financial hub of Canary Wharf and the London legal district just minutes away.

The School of Business and Law’s Mission

The School of Business and Law offers an inclusive, research-led education providing a transformational experience that enhances employment prospects for all students.

UEL business programmes are recognised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, (ACCA), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, (CIPD). UEL’s aim is to move towards external accreditation for all their programmes, thus giving students additional advantages in the job market.

With views to the Canary Wharf financial district, School of Business and Law’s centre was officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 2007.

The School of Business and Law is proud to be working with some of the leading professional bodies in the business field. Where possible, it aims to build in professional body accreditation so that students have already started on the road to professional qualification by the time they graduate from their choice of programme. This means that when graduates join a business organisation they can more speedily take on a full professional role.

We provide a challenging yet nurturing environment in the heart of the UK’s business capital. Our ambitions for our students are global.
